La ciencia siempre estuvo al servicio de la humanidad o eso nos han hecho creer.
Quizá fue así en sus inicios, pero en la actualidad la ciencia está gobernada por el hombre de negocios que quiere productos que duren poco para que tengas que volverlos a comprar y así aumentar sus beneficios.Nos tienen manipulados haciéndonos creer que queremos objetos que en realidad no necesitamos (obsolescencia por modas) y además, diciéndonos que sin consumismo, la economía mundial sería insostenible.
En este vídeo se muestra cómo la evolución nos ha ido proporcionando nuevos productos (o versiones mejoradas de los mismos) hasta llegar al momento en que dejamos de preocuparnos por la calidad e incluso en la repercusión que esto conlleva de cara al medio ambiente.
